Just heard some people in the office talking. They're having a One Tree Hill Halloween party on October 25. I immediately thought of you, Derek.

Alright, the ***Evil Christmas Zombie Slayer Awesome Epic Night of Zombies Part 2*** will be on Oct 25th at my apartment! We can order some pizza and make a night of it! The game will pick up where we left off last Halloween, but I simplified the rules to make it more free form and cinematic.
All you will need are a set of percentile dice and a simple character sheet to keep up with your couple of abilities. I made this rules up last night and rather quickly, but I think they will be fast paced enough to still get some rolling done and not get in the way of the zombie action!
The way the game will work is that trying to do anything of action and daring will require a roll of the percentile dice. The difficulty of your action will be broken down into 4 levels-
1. "Piece of Cake"- This stuff is easy and mundane to you. Due to your skill in this activity you have no room for failure and require no roll.
2. "Missed it By *that* Much"- These actions are still simple for the most part, but do have room for error. (Especially in a zombie infested Wilmington!) You must roll an 80% or under on the percentile dice to succeed.
3. "Come Get Some!" these actions are moderately difficult, but you still have a chance of succeeding at them! Still, with a hoard of zombies nearby there is always room for tragic error. You must roll a 50% or under on the percentile dice to succeed.
4. "Oh my God, Did you SEE that?!"- These are stunts or great feats of pure rush and adreniline that you did not know you were capable of. You must roll a 20% or under on the percentile dice to succeed.
Special: "Hail to the King Baby!" If you ever roll a 10% on a percentile roll then you are in the zone baby! Your next percentile roll's difficulty is reduced by 20%!
All Damage will be a d10. If you choose to take an ability such as "Military Training" or "Cock Diesal" you can add a +1 to the Dmg dice for skill with weapons or just pure strength. Zombies will be treated as minions, but will have Damage Avoidance (DA) to some degree. In order to kill a zombie you must deal enough damage with your D10 + abilities to meet his DA and thus score a solid headshot.
Example: Zombie Bob has a DA of 5 as he was a high school running back before being bitten and is rather shifty. Depending on the situation and the difficulty leading up to Zombie Bob, you roll the percentile dice to see if you hit. (GM will decide what the Difficulty lvl will be) If you hit poor Zombie Bob, you roll your D10 and add any personal ability dmg you might have to the roll due to skill with arms, strength or your frantic skill with a 2x4. If the Dmg meets or exceeds Zom Bobs DA, you crush, snipe or other wise mess up the living dead's face and leave him in a heap.
As for Abilities. You can make them up! Everyone gets 3 personal abilities that you think would best reflect you in real life! There can be a wide range of things you might think of, but the group will be approving them before the game so make sure they make sense! If you put down that you do +3 Dmg with nunchucks or can hack into Washington's computer network with your mad computer skills, we are all going to laugh at you. In this game you aren't super heroes, you are a gaming group! nonetheless, I know we all have some survival skills and badassary so have fun with this and post your ideas here first! They will be fun to talk about!
Any Questions just leave them here. I'll post a recap of last years session before Evil Christmas to refresh your memories. ;D

Sample Character:
Derek Raines * May be Infected
DA: 4 LP: 6/10
Abilities: 1. "I Swung a Sword in High School" Passive: When wielding a sword, Derek reduces the difficulty of his attacks by 5%.
2. "Zombie Survival Guide Owner" Derek knows the basics for surviving all sorts of zombie attacks thanks to trashy movies, novels and random crap. Once per day, he can force a Zombie that got too close to re roll its attack on him.
3. "Fistful of Boomstick" Playing it cool like Ash, thats how you do it! From chainsaws for a hand to S-Mart's finest guns, Derek thinks Mr Bruce Campbell may be the finest undead slayer around! Thus, once per day Derek may quote an Evil Dead or Army of Darkness Line as he attacks, he can re roll an attack or damage on an undead if he just missed it's dome piece.

*** Forgot to add something.
All of you have a DA of 4 to take into account dodging, squirming, barely pushing a zombie's snapping teeth away from your throat ect. You also have 10 life points. When those are gone you are dead.
