Ethan "The Citadel" Cross is a High School student with a bright future ahead of him. Given his nickname by the football coach due to his incredible defensive skills on the field, Ethan is also very active in the ROTC program where he hopes to follow in his father's foot steps after graduating. Colonel David Cross, an officer in the US Army, has instilled in his son a strict desire for discipline, morality and duty in all walks of life. 6'4, fit, easy going, handsome- Yeah, Ethan has it all...
That is...until his world got turned upside down...

The concept I have for this character is pretty vanilla and straight forward. I'd like to take some sort of Broad Power that would cover the core power suite of a Super Man-esque Brick. (Strength, Invulnerability and Flight)
If i have any points left, I'd like to invest in some leadership abilities to give the team an on the field tactical voice. (Ie Captain America) I figure with his military background, ROTC grooming, strong presence and charisma that would fit nicely.

Citadel Ethan Cross
Calling: Defender Gifts: (Open Gift- Leadership) Flaws: Although Citadel seems to be an unstoppable force- all weapons need a failsafe. During the experimentations that Ethan and his friends were subject too, a ring was crafted that would act as the penetrating defense against the Hyper Soldier if anything should go wrong. Using a series of very precise frequencies meshed, looped and harmonized (very hard to discover or replicate) the ring was to render Citadel completely vulnerable. However, before the technology could be properly synched with Citadel's power source, the experiments abruptly ended..(Ie whatever Gamedave has in store for our characters.) The ring still exists somewhere, but its results are sporadic. When it is activated, Citadel rolls a D6. He becomes vulnerable to the given power source as long as he is in range of the ring and its emitting frequency. He is also stunned for the first round the ring is activated. This time is spent clutching his head, gritting his teeth and trying to combat the wracks of pain surging through his nervous system.
1- Electricity 2- Cold 3- Magic 4- Psychic /Mentalist 5- Radiation 6- Sonic
Origins: Endowed?
Powers: Hyper Soldier/Super Strength 10 (B-550) * Invulnerability 10 (F-40) *Flight 10 (Open Feat- will manifest when first needed)
Reserve: 1 Open Ability. 160 CP.

It doesn't fit (at all) with the shared origin story - everyone is a seemingly normal college freshman who has been a part of an on-going, long term medical study since they were little kids. In the first session, something will happen that endows super-powers. As for points, everyone has 500 CP, 1 Open Gift (Narrow), 1 Open Ability (Narrow Normal Fair (+0)), and 1 Open Feat. That's it. Everyone also has 250 "reserve" CP, which you can't spend. That's why they are called "reserve". You will have access to them as the campaign progresses. Also, Feats are 20 CP, not 40. Also, just a suggestion, but you might want some sort of skills, reflecting your JROTC training, Army brat background, college major, interests and hobbies - something. Or are you really just an unskilled slacker?

Looks good.
BTW, in high school, Ethan would have been in JROTC (Junior ROTC), which includes no combat training - JROTC does marching and drilling, physical fitness, some military history, terminology and etiquette, and community service. It's basically just an afterschool club.
When you enrolled in college as a freshman, you could have also enrolled in actual ROTC - Reserve Officers' Training Corps. This is actual military training. You attend normal classes at the university with a military scholarship and stipend, plus attend special military science and officer training classes, and participate in training drills, including a summer program, which includes real military training - land navigation, radio communications, first aid, basic survival, weapons training (primarily the M9 pistol and M16 rifle, plus familiarization with with other military weapons systems), and the like. Upon graduation, you are commissioned as an officer in the Army, and are either assigned to Active Duty or Reserve status, depending on the needs of the Army, for a minimum period of service, after which you are free to resign your commission. An ROTC Cadet lives most of the time like a civilian, but is in fact enlisted in the U.S. Army. It would be easier for the campaign if you were previously in JROTC, but have decided, for whatever reason, not to sign up with the ROTC, at least as yet (you could be planning on waiting a year or two before joining, or you could be planning on enlisting as a regular enlisted Soldier as a way of rebelling against your officer father, or you could be undecided about whether you actually want to join the military).
