So, it looks like they've got a tactical X-Wings vs. TIE Fighters game and a CCG (really? aren't CCGs like so '00s?). No minis or RPG - as yet. I really like a lot of the stuff FFG puts out, but I'm a diehard RPG guy, and their RPG stuff has been...lackluster.
The Warhammer 40k games used another company's game system (Games Workshop's "Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay"), but with a lot of tweaks and added complications - I still don't understand how the squad mode vs. solo mode in "Deathwatch" works.
Their version of Warhammer Fantasy used their own built-from-scratch system - and is perhaps the most complex (and expensive!) RPG ever. Their boardgames are semi-RPGs, which is cool, but their RPGs seem to be semi-boardgames, which is less so.
I hope they do a better job with their Star Wars RPG (if they make one - neither West End Games nor WotC could sustain one), but I'm not all that hopeful. On the other hand, if they do a semi-RPG boardgame...

I think the card game is an LCG not CCG. Basically, non-random packs. Expansions come out at regular intervals.
The tactical x-wing game shows promise. The Wizards game did not do it for me, and I am sick of all the random packs.
I am hopeful that a RPG will be fun. I am excited about a non-d20 version of Star Wars. We're probably still near a year away, however.
Anyway, FFG having the license is pretty cool. Maybe we'll get some new ways to play in the Star Wars universe.
