See the Drawing Board category for some notes I'm putting together on a Star Wars RPG using the Savage Worlds Deluxe rules.

Don't get "Star Wars"ed out. When Fantasy Flight releases their RPG of Star Wars, we're going to want to play it.
Also, I'm sure you saw the Savage Star Wars rules that had been created and in that huge file Jeremy gave us a while back. If you haven't looked at it there may be some good ideas there.
The truth is, I think Star Wars and Savage Worlds is actually a great fit.

Don't get "Star Wars"ed out. When Fantasy Flight releases their RPG of Star Wars... Ha! You funny man you! Srlsly, FFG hasn't announced that an RPG is even in the planning stages yet. It's been experimenting with RPGs, but AFAIK Warhammer Fantasy was an expensive bust (although judging by the continuing books, 40k seems to be doing well), and FFG is a board and card game company with an RPG sideline. It's possible they will never launch a SW RPG. On savageheroes.com, the semi-official Savage Worlds site for fan-created material, there are no less than six different adaptations, several of them in multiple editions. I briefly glanced at a couple and didn't particularly care for them. Besides, as I indicated in my initial post, I enjoy tinkering around with RPGs. It's what I do. I don't know when, if ever, I'd actually ever run the game. Playing "Force Unleashed" just really got me jonesing and setting off creative sparks, so I'm running with it.

So, this weekend, I started writing up my notes on Savage Worlds rules for Star Wars. Then, today, I grabbed lunch at Burger King, and on my receipt, my Order was...well, I'm sure you can guess. I think the Force is trying to tell me something...I'm just not sure what it is, there being no Jedi around here for me to execute.

Suit always plays Jedi. You could..."Burger King" him.
