CAMPAIGN QUEST
MAJOR QUESTS
[/li][li]The True Sith
On the remote planet Dagobah, the party learned from a surviving Baran Do Sage the truth behind the Sith. Conventional history says that when a faction of Dark Jedi fled to the planet Korriban, they enslaved the inhabitants, known as the Sith, who worshipped the Dark Jedi as gods. Thus, they became known as the Lords of the Sith, and later their order became known simply as the Sith. The truth is that the inhabitants of Korriban were worshipped by the Dark Jedi, rather than the other way around. These "True Sith" were creatures of darkest legend, who roamed the Galaxy millennia before even the Infinite Empire of the Rakata arose. They were hunted nearly to extinction, hiding in the darkest and loneliest reaches of the Galaxy, before the Dark Jedi re-discovered their homeworld. Now, centuries later, with the rise of the Dark Empire of the Sith, they are starting to resurface. They are more creatures of the Dark Side of the Force than of flesh and blood. Kill one, and it will lodge a fragment of its consciousness in a nearby sentient, gradually corrupting it and turning it into a True Sith. In ages past, they could reproduce their race in this manner, but apparently have lost this ability save in the event of their own physical demise. Why have the True Sith re-emerged? What are their goals? How did they lose their ability to reproduce, and what will happen if they regain it? And how do you truly kill a creature of pure Darkness, who can possess the very foe who kills its physical vessel, and turn that foe into one of them?[/li][/ul]
MINOR QUESTS
[/li][li]A Little Job
Fillian Royce and Borjak contacted the information-broker droid, Switch, and offered to perform a job in exchange for information on known Rakatan sites in the Galaxy. Switch had them retrieve a data cache from the surface of Brentaal. During a rather chaotic heist, the party made contact with what appears to be an anti-Sith resistance on the surface.[/i][/li][/ul]
THE NETWORK
The party has made deals with the Brentaal resistance and Switch the droid information broker. Combined with Fillian Royce's Contacts, the party now has in place elements of a Galactic intelligence and communications network. In return, they may be asked to perform favors for the Brentaal resistance, and to feed data to Switch.
POTENTIAL QUEST LEADS, CONTACTS, AND RESOURCES
- Overthrow the Dark Empire of the Sith
The party is looking for ways to resist and undermine the Dark Empire of the Sith and, ultimately, to overthrow it, and restore peace and freedom to the Galaxy.
MAJOR QUESTS
- Protect the Light
The party met when they were all detained aboard a Sith Star Destroyer, and escaped with a Sith Assassin broke in to abduct another prisoner, a mysterious teenage Force user, Illyeria. Before the party rescued her and escaped, Illyria's companion, a human named Garth, was mortally wounded. His dying words were, "Illyria...you must protect...the Light." Illyria has an odd connection with the Force that doesn't seem to match any known tradition. She has told the party that for as long as she can remember she and Garth, her companion and protector, were on the run from the Sith. The party knows a Sith Lord named Darth Tenebrous was behind the abduction attempt, and apparently two or more factions of the Sith want to capture Illyria for unknown reasons. Presumably Darth Tenbrous' assassin, Darth Malady, and the the other faction(s) are still hunting Illyria...and the party. - The Rakatan Star Map
The party recovered an ancient Rakatan star map from a Rakatan automated production facility, showing the locations of a dozen Rakatan facilities. However, the map is over 25,000 years old and uses a Rakatan coordinate system no longer in use, and will take some time to decipher. Using data from a Seed World ship, they party has discovered the twelve mapped points are the elements of a failsafe plan to re-found the Infinite Empire of the Rakata. The party also has a map of all known Rakatan sites to cross-reference, so they can rule out sites that have already been discovered and looted. Some of the undiscovered sites include three Seed World ships, a mothballed fleet including multiple War Hulks, and a number of automated production facilities. Deciphering a location is a Dramatic Task that can be attempted once per game session.A Lonely Place
The first location on the star map was an otherwise unmapped system in the Toydaria Sector. The uninhabited system contained the wreckage of dozens of ships, including a Rakatan War Hulk, and the remains of a major planetary installation. It appears that all life in the system was destroyed by a Rakatan super-weapon during a major battle, leaving behind a large amount of salvageable technology. An extensive system survey determined that, with a few hundred workers and a few months time, the war hulk and a couple of dozen other star ships could be repaired and refitted - creating the nucleus of a powerful battle fleet.
That's No Moon!
Following a lead on their Rakatan Star Map, the party found a hyperspace route from the Geonosis System leading into the Void. On the other end they found a Rakatan Seed World ship, part of a Rakatan failsafe plan to refound the Infinite Empire. The Seed World Ship is designed to convert a gas giant planet into a fortress world populated by millions of Rakata currently in suspended animation. It is apparently awaiting some unknown signal to begin its mission. Unsure of how to deal with the situation, the party left the ship and its unbalanced caretaker behind.
The Conqueror Star
Following a lead on their Rakatan Star Map, the party found a hyperspace route from the Kessel System to a remote star. On the other end of the route was a red giant star, glowing with an almost palpably malicious and baleful light. In orbit around the star was an entire Rakatan fleet - a dozen WarHulks, and dozens of support ships, all perfectly preserved. The party's hyperspace calculations in traveling from Kessel were unfortunately in error, resulting in significant damage to their ship. To make matters worse, the star began drawing them closer, seemingly of its own accord. Illyria identified it as the Conqueror Star, a legendary herald of doom. Malakai the Jensaarai confirmed that the star itself was a sentient dark force user - the power source of the Rakatan fleet in orbit. After some hurried repairs, the party fled the system. But the Conqueror star is now awake...and hungry... - The Sarlaac Project
The party has become aware of a project being carried out by a faction of the Sith, which it is keeping secret not only from the Galaxy at large but from other Sith as well, code-named "Sarlaac". So far, the party knows that it involves reconstruction of extinct genomes, and its practical applications have resulted in the deaths of thousands of test subjects. The party discovered that at least some of the project's logistics are being run through the city of Zarra on Cato Nemoidia by Darga the Hutt.
- The Queen of Air and Darkness
Following their only current lead on the Sarlacc project to Bespin, the party discovered that Darga the Hutt's traitorous major domo, Igren Demos, was scheduled to meet with a covert Sith operative to arrange delivery of the next shipment of Tibana gas, using the Galaxy's largest Sabacc tournament as cover. The party disrupted the deal, and discovered that Darga was receiving "genetically damaged" slaves in return. Igren Demos took his own life rather than be captured, Darga was killed, apparently by the Sith (but which faction, and why?), and the slave ship the party rescued jumped to hyperspace for parts unknown (accidentally carrying off one of the party, Borjack the Mandalorian).- A Wretched Hive
Following their only lead on the Sarlaac Project, the party infiltrated the palace of Darga the Hutt on Cato Nemoidia, and became members of his court. They discovered Darga was selling "damaged" slaves (possibly suffering from genetic damage). They also discovered that his major domo, Igren Demos, was a Dark Force user who was dealing on the side with the Sith, and plotting against Darga. After his treachery was revealed, Demos fled to Bespin, where he was running Darga's Tibana gas smuggling operation.

MINOR QUESTS
- A Growing Darkness
In the hut of the senior Baran Do Sage on Dagobah, the party made a disturbing discovery. Fillian Royce is apparently possessed by the dark Force spirit of the True Sith they slew months before...and it is getting stronger. - The Code Breakers
While in Darga's palace, the party was contacted by one of Switch's droid operatives, and given an intercepted Sith transmission which originated in Darga's palace. Switch was unable to break the encryption, and requested the party's aid. The party made a deal with the leader of the Brentaal resistance to decrypt the message. It little information the party did not already have by the time they decrypted it, but they now have access to encryption algorithms specifically designed to protect messages from other Sith.

POTENTIAL QUEST LEADS, CONTACTS, AND RESOURCES
- A Quiet and Peaceful Little Town
Looking for more information on the Conqueror Star, Illyria's origins, and the strange Sith, the party spent months tracking down the surviving Baran Do Sages, finally arriving at the remote Dagobah System. The planet's thick atmosphere, which interferes with sensors, apparently harbors several villages of Kel Dor and other refugees from the Dark Empire of the Sith. The party has made contact with the senior Baran Do Sage, but has yet to deal with the settlement's civil authorities. - Clone Wars II
The party has discovered that one of them, Draes, is in fact a clone, a new, improved battle clone developed by the clone masters of Kamino. These clones are linked by the Force to a Rakatan artifact, a battle computer the clones refer to as "the Voice of the Dragon." There are thousands of battle ready elite warriors, linked to the most powerful tactical computer in the Galaxy, assembled on Kamino. They are perhaps a valuable resource to be used against the Sith, perhaps a dangerous weapon that could be seized by the Sith, or perhaps a wild card with their own agenda... - Gilder Vliet
The party rescued Gilder Vliet (Solya Vliet's father) from the Sith. He is a research scientist who studied the reconstruction of extinct genomes, and gave the party information information on the Sarlaac Project. He has settled on Galorndon Station. - The Fenn Siblings
The party helped Maya Fenn, a thief and spy, rescue her brother, Marcus Fenn, a medical researcher, from the Sith. They settled on Galorndon Station. - The Gen
The party has made contact with the mysterious inhabitants of Genriss, the Gen. Genriss is a source of genrite, crystals that are valuable for their use in electronics, and some rare forms of which can be used as lightsaber crystals. The genrite mines are supposedly played out, but the Gen appear to know where genrite can still be mined. The planetary surface is dangerous, but more or less completely shielded from outside sensors and communications by the constant electrical storms. - I Am Brentaal
During a job for Switch on the surface of Sith-occupied Brentaal, the party made contact with a gang of "Junk Scouts" in the ruins of the capital city. Their leader is a human with a Borg Construct Aj^6 connecting him to Brentaal's government computers, at least some of which still appear to be under his control. In addition, he seems to able to monitor Sith communications in real time. When he was asked about himself and his right to speak for the people of Brentaal, his response was "I am Brentaal." - The Pirate Queen
The party has made contact with Kaivis, a Dathomiri Witch who leads a pirate fleet based in Galorndon Core's asteroid belt. She seems hostile to Solya Vliet, and unfriendly to the party, but the party's gladiatorial victory has made them popular with the rest of the fleet. - Switch
The party has made contact with an information broker and smuggler, the independent protocol droid, Switch. He is based on Sel Zonn Station in the Brentaal system, and has an avatar in the back room of the Krayt Dragon Cantina on Galorndon Station. - Vorgo
The party has made contact with Vorgo, a Rodian who controls Galorndon Station's shipyards, is a major power broker on the station, and has an interest in Rakatan artifacts. He has had...complicated business dealings with Fillian Royce, but has so far been willing to make mutually beneficial deals with the party.
