The Deck of Many Things, an artifact of chaos and destruction, wishes to be assembled. Three heroes are chosen by the Deck to rebuild it. They must face numerous dangers in order to find the cards as they have been scattered around the Kingdom of Terrinoth. Finding the cards will challenge their skills but once the Deck is together...that's when it gets intersting.

Three Heroes have been chosen by the Deck...
Zyla [Half-Elven Druid] Zyla is an illiterate druid of the wilds. With her trusty companion Wolfey she finds herself adventuring with companions just as quirky as she is...except they don't talk to themselves (out loud).
Tiny [Giantkin Barbarian] Wielding his massive greatsword (nicknamed Mr. T), Tiny is arrogant, overconfident, and just a little bit greedy. What he lacks in social graces he more than makes up for with sheer might.
Trezi Botkin [half-folk bard] Trezi is a loyal companion full of enthusiasm and spirit. She is impulsive which often leads to trouble but her adventures make for great songs and she sings them all!

Episode 1: 4/6/2013 Starting XP: 28 Starting Rank: Seasoned Previously in the Savage Realms… • The Heroes were adventuring in Undermountain and they found Rutherford. • Rutherford informed the heroes of their role in the Quest to find the Deck of Many Things. • The heroes accepted their role, received the Fates card and entered the Whispering Well. • The heroes woke up in the Kingdom of Terrinoth…in Riverwatch at an inn called The Golden Boar. • The heroes met a sailor and he sold them a map to a dungeon located at Korina’s Tears which is along the northern border of the kingdom. This gave the heroes the quest “X Marks the Spot.” • The heroes shopped the markets of Riverwatch and met some dwarven blacksmiths from Forge. They learned about Trezi’s sword [Fireburst] and were able to purchase a magic greatsword [nicknamed Mr. T] for Tiny to wield. In addition, they purchased a Collar of Storing for Wolfey. • The heroes traveled to Tamalir where they wandered into a tavern called The Rusty Tankard. While inside they received the quest “The Dark Shard.” • The heroes traveled to the Broken Crags to destroy the Dark Shard and help the vitality return to the people near Tamalir. They were ambushed on the road by two stone golems but were victorious in battle. • The heroes continued on to the Broken Crags and succeeded in destroying the Dark Shard. It was located in a dungeon guarded by a necromancer, skeletons, gravehounds, shadowhunter bats, a large spider, a veteran mage, and a berbalang demon.
In today’s episode… • The heroes have stepped through a portal and are being teleported somewhere as they let the Fates card and the Deck decide where they should go next.

Episode 2: 4/13/2013 Starting XP: 31 Starting Rank: Seasoned
Previously in the Savage Realms… • The heroes stepped through the portal and found themselves in an underground cavern complex. The light fading from the portal’s energy, they rested briefly and prepared themselves for adventure. • After a short rest, the heroes ventured across a great chasm and deeper into the cave system. Sensing a nauseating stench the heroes got “The Drop” on a pack of troglodytes and quickly dispatched them. • Heading deeper into the caves, the heroes defeated the troglodyte tribe including their shaman and war chief. • Next the heroes crossed a natural stone bridge over an underground river. The river flowed through a massive cavern hundreds of feet long filled with 3 large sandy beaches that glittered with glowing crystals amongst the sands. The cavern was illuminated with shimmering lights reflecting off wet cavern walls and the water itself. It would have been beautiful if they could have truly spent time appreciating the view. Unfortunately, the quest that led them here took precedence and they crossed the bridge and entered a dark tunnel. • Heading through the tunnel, the heroes battled a clutch of gricks and then came upon a vortex of swirling magical energy infused with living rock… the “Howling Eye.” • Trezi’s bardic knowledge came in handy as she recalled a few songs that have been sung about this anomaly. It is said that “…there exists a cavern deep in the Windswept Hills, its entrance long lost save for a river that runs through it. A magical portal exists that occasionally pulls unwary adventurers in. The Howling Eye gets hungry and when it does it looks for victims to feed upon”. • Glowing crystals dotted the walls, periodically releasing energy in flashes of fire, acid, lightning, or worse. The heroes were adept at dodging the dangers and they traveled on. It was time to hit the beach and swim across the river. • After making it to the first island the heroes were attacked by giant bats swooping in from the cavern’s ceiling. They battled on the island and were victorious. Spotting drakes on the beach ahead, the heroes waited until the drakes had left for the tunnels and took advantage of their absence to make the beach and run into the tunnel after them. • The heroes met up with the drakes and quickly took them out only to find their master…an arcane naga. She was sitting upon a stone throne amid the crystal walls. The heroes battled her (fighting off her attempts to mind control Tiny) and she was defeated. • Having looted the cavern, the heroes found three slain adventurers and upon one found a card from the Deck of Many Things…the THRONE card.
In today’s episode… • The heroes have rested and now plan to backtrack to the portal hoping to get it working and ultimately leave the underground complex.

Episode 3: 4/20/2013 Starting XP: 34 Starting Rank: Seasoned
Previously in the Savage Realms… • The heroes worked their way back through the tunnels and successfully activated the portal to leave the Cavern of the Howling Eye. • The heroes found themselves in the Dancing Boot tavern located in Tamalir. They were being served a fine meal when a half-folk male approached and addressed Trezi…”Milady, I have located the merchant that you inquired about. He will be here shortly. I have Glorr and Lady Streets positioned as you instructed. Will that be all?” • Memories quickly flooded the party and they “remembered” that Trezi Botkin is a noble from a royal line in Tamalir. They have adventuring companions in Glorr Stoneshield and Jandet Wiler (aka Streets) and are currently gathering information to locate a missing companion…the tinkerer Sparks. • The merchant (Caladri Moonglow) arrived and they conducted business. The party purchased a map to a dungeon in the Starfall Forest. This is the last place that Sparks was seen. • The heroes traveled to the Starfall Forest and entered the complex. It turns out that it is an old Drakkon temple dedicated to Bahamut. The heroes earned entry by conversing with the animated guardian. He asked that they locate the troublesome half-folk that snuck in. • The heroes have worked their way through the first level battling numerous constructs but there is no sign of Sparks anywhere. • Heading to the second level, the party found recently used laboratories, alchemy labs, and construct “morgues.” • The party finally made some progress when they battled a powerful metal golem that was protecting a door. Heading through the door, the heroes found a construct “Thinkerer.” • Having destroyed the “Thinkerer” the heroes know that they have slowed down the production of constructs but still have not found Sparks. • The “Thinkerer” had a card from the Deck of Many Things…the KNIGHT card. Once Tiny had it in his hands laughter echoed through the halls and the card vanished.
In today’s episode… • The heroes have rested and are heading deeper into the complex. They are still searching for Sparks but are also aware that more “Thinkerers” are in the complex and they know that the construct army that is being created must be stopped before it is unleashed on Terrinoth.
