V0 Model Droid
Construct: V0 Model Droids are constructs and share all of the baseline features as the rest of their kind. +8
Heavily Armored (2): V0 Model Droids were designed for combat and have reinforced plating over their most vulnerable interior components. +2
Dependency: Recharge Power Supply. While power packs, cells and charge stations are common, a V0 Droid must charge its power supply 1 hour out of every 24 hours or gain increasing levels of fatigue until Incapacitated. -2
Outsider (Major): Droids subtract 2 from Persuasion rolls when interacting with anyone besides other droids, and have no legal rights in most areas (generally considered property). -2
Hidden Programming (Major): V0 Model Droids often contain sleeper protocols, unknown even to themselves, which would cause severe problems if initiated or discovered. If the hidden programming is ever revealed, it could be traded for Enemy, Wanted or another appropriate Hindrance approved by the GM. -2
Environmental Weakness: V0 Model Droids have complex circuitry that is vulnerable to large amounts of electricity and ionization. They suffer -4 penalty to resist electric or ionic environmental effects. If the droid suffers an attack based on electricity or ionization, this penalty acts as a bonus to damage. -1/-1

V0-1D (Void)A combat droid so old its serial number has faded and its origins are lost in countless years of disorganized data. V0-1D, or Void as it prefers to be called, was discovered by members of the party in the wreckage of an ancient starship during a salvage mission. After the crew repaired and restored its power, the droid repaid the benevolent act by swearing loyalty to his new companions. Void is emphatic that he chooses to aid his friends, not as their servant, and struggles to see other droids treated as property. While the crew might play along with this quirk, the rest of the galaxy views him as just another machine. The droid has developed a personality over time and has overwritten much of its baseline programming in an attempt to transcend to true sentients. Void has logged several voices, and will often shift its tone mid conversation to an accent it finds interesting in that moment. The droid also watches a considerable amount of entertainment, and strives to emulate the dramatic flare of the heroes on the big holo-screen. Void has a large collection of sentient attire (cloaks, hats, long coats, ties) and will often wear them over its armored frame. Anything to edge the droid closer to being something that could be considered truly alive.

Racial stuff looks good, generally. Couple of notes:
1. If you don't take the Armored Hero edge, the Heavily Armored isn't going to get you bang for your buck. Most weapons have AP2. If you DO take the Armored Hero edge, then it all checks out. 2. I haven't quite figured out what I'm doing with ion weapons. I'm probably going to use them the same way that Stun weapons work on organics but with normal range. Ion weapons won't be super common, but I don't want to take you by surprise, either. Because of the range, they'll be a bit more effective on droids than stun is on people.

1. Great suggestion on the Heavily Armored Edge. I'll make it my first selection! 2. Yeah, Ion is always a pretty big threat when playing a droid character. I may want to rethink the Environmental weakness to Ion if it is already getting a built in 3D8 against Droids. A couple 3D8+4 (28 Max Damage without exploding dice!) Ion shots could be serious trouble!
What if Ion weapons did 2D6 Pistol/2D8 Rifle to Droids (1D6/1D8 to Organics) and all Droids were just racially Environmentally weak to Ion? This would still have Ion pack a punch at 2D6/2D8 + 4 damage (which is superior against droids than the straight blaster variants).
