Thanagaran Super-Strength 11 (M - 170)
*Flight - Winged 11 (M - 100)
*Toughness 15 (N - 180)1
CP: 977
Design Notes: Yet another alien with a suite of powers. In Hawkgirl's case, even though Flight is her most prominent power, I used Super-Strength as the base - seemed to make more sense, especially given her Toughness power. Speakin' o' Strength and Toughness, I gave her low-level Super-Strength - a couple of episodes mentioned that Thanagarans are stronger than humans, and in a flashback episode, we see Katar Hol crushing a stone bannister with his bare hands. On the other hand, HG doesn't really display much in the way of strength - but she does pack a mean wallop with her mace, and she can definitely take a hit - she's even taken a couple of punches from Wonder Woman, but clearly wasn't in her strength class - so I gave her a Toughness power which is higher Rank than her Strength. Her Nth Metal Mace has a material Stregth of 21, which doesn't too much other than determine how hard it is to break, so a Narrow Ability. She has a Feat Tree from it - first is Disruption, which inflicts that damage to anything which depends on structured energy fields (electrical systems, force fields, spells, magical constructs, etc.); again, a Narrow Ability. Off of that, she has Shock, at -4 Ranks, which damages living opponents and inanimate objects without energy fields. Between her Disruption and Shock, she essentially has a Medium Shock Ability - which she normally would not be able to Feat off of a Narrow Ability. However, I decided between the limitation of it being in a melee weapon which can be lost or broken, and an understanding with the player that the Shock Ability would not be increased from the default -4 Ranks, it was ok. Oh, yeah, and her Espionage Ability - she was a spy, after all, and did completely fool the Justice League, so she obviously has some ability; on the other hand, she never uses any spy-type skills in the entire series; so, I gave her the Ability at Rank 5 - she isn't any better than default when she has to roll, but she has some training, so she can make Routine Difficulties of 5 or less without a roll.
