Just checking to see if anyone has picked up the new batman animated feature DVD. It's six stories, each done by different animators that kind of flow together. They also use the same voice actors from the original animated series. The batman from the "crossfire" story is the best in my opinion. I think it was originally done in japan as it seems the mouth movements don't quite match up. The production value seems top notch though, not like the infamous dragonlance incident. The first story reminds me of the episode where a bunch of children talk about what they think the batman is. I'm gonna have to reccomend this so, pick it up when you get a chance. here's a quick trailer jp.youtube.com/watch?v=IsTSqxHB9tE&NR=1

It's on in demand with time warner cable. I've now watched it twice. It's a very "animatrix"-like concept. I definitely agree with you that "crossfire" is the best of the 6. I think though that the first episode was by far the worst. I didn't like the animation and the plot was kinda cool. It was neat to see how they all kinda flowed together.
