After seeing Thomas' frustration with what to do with his weapon when drawing a potion, I came across this idea. Let me know what you think and what level should an item like this be at?
Scabbard of Recall (Wondrous Item)
Property: When you drop the item this scabbard was tailored for, it drops back into this scabbard instead of falling to the ground.
Comparing to "Staff of spectral hands" and "Hedge wizards gloves", I think it could be level four or five.

There are a couple useful items in 4E. Sometimes it requires thinking out side the box a bit to see just how cool they can be. =) I think Wizards is so focused on keeping things balanced that even their items are gone over with a fine tooth comb to make sure that they can't be exploited by power gamers.
But then they release weapons like Bloodclaw and you have to ask yourself what they could possible have been thinking.
As for the scabbard (and other items like it), I am generally wondering if this item is something that enhances the game with its creative trait or actually takes away from the game by kind of cheating the system. Any thoughts?
