The House of Sundancer was one of the leading noble houses of old Quel'Thalas, distantly related, by their own account, to the House of Sunstrider. Although other high elves regarded the Sundancers as merely another noble house, the Sundancers always considered themselves at least potentially in the line of royal succession.
All the ambitions of the Sundancers were reduced to dust and ashes with the fall of Quel'Thalas, the destruction of the Sunwell, and the scattering of the surviving high elves. Or so it seemed.
Val'Therys Sundancer is the last scion of House Sundancer. A might warrior with a mightier ego, Val'Therys has put himself forward as a war leader for his scattered people. He is determined to reunite the blood elves and forge from them a mighty army to destroy the Scourge, retake Quel'Thalas, and create a new golden age for the former high elves.
Val'Therys is still jockeying for power, and has not been accepted by the council which rules Silvermoon, his most likely base of power. Thus, he is currently a wandering adventurer, seeking glory and wealth to back his ambitions. As well, he seeks powerful allies to aid him in his quest. Perhaps a ragtag band of adventurers in need of leadership...

Derek, I'm planning on rejoining the campaign the first week of January, if that's ok with you. Val'Therys will be a blood elf warlord. What level should I start at? What items do I start with? If you plan to give him an "heirloom item", I think a really neat idea would be a battle standard, the standard of House Sundancer (a literal heirloom item). Since I can't compete withSuperman and Captain Marvel Mike's and Jeremy's characters in direct combat effectiveness, I plan to make him a support character, so an item that buffs the party and/or boosts the buffs he grants would be cool. Or an item that boosts his Diplomacy and Intimidate. Or maybe gives him minions...
