I like the concept (both on a RPing level and the benefit it would bring to the party.) Jeff is playing a Blood Elf hero whose back story would compliment yours and may for a good side quest if the party should head to Silvermoon. Striking and Defending is more than covered with the current party, but support only makes the group bring the pain even more so I think Warlord is a great addition. Suchris has joined the party and is playing an odd hybrid support class (Bard/Rogue/Warlock/whofrikkenknows) so you may want to talk to him about what roles the two of you will play (if you won't your own niche.) I'm not exactly sure what spell or ability he is using, but I know he summons minion undead servants to aid him.
A lot has happened in the last month so I will post a recap of everything up till now so you'll be caught up. With the railroading of the prologue having ended and the Lich King defeated, the stage is set for the party to head in many directions and choose their path. With so many loose ends, personal goals and the great shadow of a large threat looming in the distance- I am allowing the party to decide where and how they will accomplish their goals and just what direction they wish to choose. (granted I get a week in advance to prepare for the location they have chosen =)
I like the idea of the heirloom item. What type of Warlord all you? What type of support would you like to bring to the table? Do you want the heirloom to reflect any specific traits? I will build a cool, sample version of it when you give me some details as I want it to fit your character well.
Lastly, I look forward to having you return to the game! It is going very well (which is a feat for me that it hasn't ended yet) and I ask that you bring a positive attitude to the table and a desire to do some good RPing. We have all been trying to work on the little quarks to try and make the gaming experience more enjoyable for everyone. New Year. Fresh start. As a DM I may resort to using cinematic-esque moments to build storyline and tension, new spells and unknown magics and technologies to further the plot and the occasional speed bump on a game mechanic that simply solves a goal without effort. I will do my best to give notice before altering anything for the benefit of the game. As it stands, however, the stage has been set and I will rely on you all to decide where we go from here on out! I want to take time to spend some sessions on each and every characters backstory so I will do my best to use whatever you give me to make that so in the case of Val'therys! Looking forward to playing!
